Cute...

I've been meaning to post this video of my niece for a while now but just haven't. She is very much in love with the picture of my nephew Devon on my laptop. Whenever she comes in my room she points at his picture and then points back at herself, which she does when she wants something. Its stinkin cute. Enjoy....

House hunt over....hopefully.

After almost three months or so of house hunting we finally got ourselves a home. We had been mostly looking in the sugarhouse area because we like it so much, but soon found out that the houses were a little small. We did however find one we liked between 2700 s and 3300 s above Highland dr. and put an offer on it, but somebody else beat us to the punch and we lost it. It was really frustrating for a while there because everyone kept saying how bad the market was, but as soon as we found a house someone would swoop in and buy it. BUT finally on Monday we had decided to stop looking in sugarhouse and focus on East Millcreek/Holladay area and SUCCESS. We found one that was perfect. Good size, good area, nice backyard with a view of Mt. Olympus. The house inside needed a little bit of work but we decided that wasn't a big deal because everything else was great. So Wednesday morning we put an offer on it (after Billy had a couple of panic attacks). We thought for sure they were going to come back with a counter offer or once again someone else had put a better offer in than ours. But Wednesday night Billy gave me a call and told me they accepted out first offer!!!! Yeah!!!! We are super excited, and a little nervous at the same time. We close at the end of this month so hopefully everything goes well and when we have the inspections done on Monday we don't find anything major wrong with the house. I took a cute picture of my niece Erin today and it just so happens that she was wearing a bib that said "I Love My Auntie," hee hee, ok so maybe I did it on purpose.

I also took this video of her today because she just started saying "Hey!" and it is my favorite thing because she jolts her whole body everytime she does it!

Her Birthday is today and she turns the BIG NUMERO UNO! Happy Birthday!

The older boy is Angela's boyfriends son, but basically Angela's as well so I consider him my nephew. His name is Blake. Handsome boys huh?

So since I don't have kids of my own to brag about I wanted to brag about the cute people in my family!

Birthday Cake

So it was my birthday yesterday and as Billy and I were driving back to his apartment he started being a little brat. So I took the lid from the tupperware holding left over cake and put a little on Billy's face. After doing this I realized that Billy would want revenge when we got out of the car. So when we pulled into his parking lot I jumped out of the car before it even stopped so he could not take the left over cake from me. He stopped the car and started to charge, but was suddenly stopped in his tracks when a full piece of cake hit him in the face. You would think this would stop him, but it didn't.....so I threw the second one and it hit his U of U sweatshirt. This of course made him stop coming at me because now he was more worried about the frosting on his sweatshirt than getting revenge. I thought I would share this story and picture because it is one a the few times that I have been able to take Billy down! Please excuse the bad quality of the picture it was taken with my camera phone.

I am on a roll...

I am constantly checking everyone's blog to see their new updates, but rarely do I look at my own blog. Elizabeth pointed out to me that I had a few comments on one of my posts asking me to please update my own blog. I had never noticed them lol! So here I go....Billy finished his first semester at school and is now 1/3 of the way through his second. He is doing really well and is EXTREMELY busy. We usually only see eachother on the weekends if we are lucky. I am however impressed how he can manage his time so well. I would be having a mental breakdown if I had to juggle all the things he does on a day to day basis. Wedding plans are pretty much done. I wanted to get them out of the way so I could focus on school. We have decided to get married at St Thomas More, which is Billy's parents church. We had to meet with the priest and he agreed to marry us. We will be having a ceremony with out a mass. The church is beautiful (picture is below), I wish I had pictures of the inside but I don't unfortunately. The reception is still at Memorial House. I won't go into every detail of what I have planned for the wedding because I know it is boring to other people, but we only have the small details left to plan and the major stuff is done. Another fun thing to mention is I am lucky enough to get to watch my niece every tuesday and thursday mornings! I love that I get to see her everyday. I am currently in the process of trying to get her to call me Aunt Bob. She can't say my name, but she sure can say Bob. Hopefully it is a nickname that will stick because I think it would be funny if she said to her mom and dad a few years from now that she wanted to go visit Uncle Billy and Aunt Bob! lol.....I'm sure Billy will find that entertaining as well...... :)

So I haven't posted anything in a while but I got "tagged" so I thought I would participate. I don't have a husband yet so this will be for my fiance....

How long did you date? It will be 5 years in June.

Who eats more? He does, just ask his dietitian...lol.

Who kissed who first? Well I would say he did, but he said I made the first move.

Who said "I love you," first? He did, although he said it in his sleep twice before he actually meant to say it.

Who is smarter? He is definitely more intelligent, but I think I am more people smart than he is.....I had to give myself some credit.

Who is taller? He has got about an inch or two on me.

Who sings better? Neither, we both suck. Although he sings country songs pretty well.

Whose temper is worse? Defintely him....those Italians I tell ya!

Who is more sensitive? I am for sure

Who does the laundry? Both as of now, since we live in different places.

Who does the dishes? Well I'm sure he does his own, but my sis-in-law usually ends up doing mine....oops sorry Camille :)

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? We have our own beds to ourselves at the moment.

Who pays the bills? We do our own at the moment, but he will when we get married.

Who cooks dinner? Neither of us do, we usually end up eating cereal or something.

Who drives when you are together? I would say its pretty even, but I prefer him to drive.

Who is more stubborn? Me, or at least thats what he tells me, but he usually gets his way and I go along with it.

Who's parents do you see the most? As a couple we keep it pretty even, but I will go to my moms almost every sunday even if he doesn't.

Who proposed? Well I think I did about 20 times before he did, lol......but he was the one who made it official.

Who has more friends? He does, just wait until you see our lines at the wedding.

Who wears the pants in the family? He does, he is the more dominant one is our relationship, but I prefer it that way! (sometimes....lol.)
